Some Seperation is good

I feel the need to write this, almost like compelled to. Have you ever noticed how some things are almost but not quite right? I noticed this today.

While I do believe in prayer in schools and that creation be taught if evolution is taught, or at least side by side since both are religions that require faith to believe, I do hold some degree of church and state. Now the Reader's Digest version of the 10 Commandments, who would disapprove of that? Well maybe Satanists as Anton LeVey said Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law as their only commandment. But aside from them, who? By the way, does that commandment look anything like what we've heard since the 60s? Just Do It. You deserve a break today. Why not. Br Free. I'm sure you can think of more. I'm also sure that certain little jingles came rushing through your head just like mine did, grin.

Seriously though, who's religion if we have a state demanded one? Christian, Muslim, Jewish? Now why did I mention these three? What do all three have in common? We all worship the same Old Testament God. Where the division comes in is with Jesus. That even gets harder. Don't ask me how but some divisions of Christians are still waiting on the Christ. Some Jewish are still awaiting the Christ. Muslims are awaiting the Christ. Christ is a title, not a name. Here is the meaning: "Christ is the English term for the Greek Χριστός (Khristós) meaning "the anointed one".[1] It is a translation of the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ (Māšîaḥ), usually transliterated into English as Messiah." Wikipedia. All but a few Jewish divisions consider Jesus of Nazareth a false prophet and blasphemer. Muslims consider Jesus a great prophet and teacher. As Christians we accept Jesus as our Christ and the Son of God. Therein be the difference. All three faiths have nutty divisions too and some that claim Jewish have occult as well.

Personally I always was fine with Christianity being a state enforced religion until I stopped for a moment and thought. Just recently I got an email where great minds are trying to decide if the story of the adulteress where Jesus said Let he who is without sin cast the first stone is accurate or not and should it be taken out. Then there is the prayer issue. Catholics pray to Mary and Peter. Some pray to angels. Some Protestant divisions pray to Jesus. So far to date, I have only seen and read to pray to God the Father in Jesus's name. Then again I hear some say that there is a Trinity and they are all the same. Nowhere in the Bible can I find the word "Trinity". I do find many references to where Jesus talks about and to his Father in Heaven. I also read how Jesus said to pray. Now if we are to take the Bible literally then at what point does it mean just the parts we like?

Then there is the Rapture, another word not found in the Bible. This was thought up by an American Puritan father and son team Increase and Cotton Mather in the 1700s and then the idea was pushed in 1738 and 1748 in New Testament commentaries. Who does that? If you went back in time before that date they would probably either laugh, think you were insane, or possessed. Why should we be spared what the other Christians weren't? Are we more obedient? Think for a moment the ramifications that a non pretribulation rapture would have on someone who was depending on the event have. I can't help but think of a few verses that may apply here:

Mark 10:30-32

30But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

31But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.

Matthew 24:10-12

10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Matthew 24:11

11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

So we must have some degree of separation between church and state, least we become Rome. Not that I would recommend it to children, but if one is fanciful of Rome, one should watch a few episodes of Spartacus. Romans weren't very nice people nor were they civilized by any measure. They were barbarians that wrote down their horrors. They were smart barbarians though as far as warfare, physical and mental. Constantine, who ordered Christianity to be Rome's religion was himself a Pagan and Christian? He also commissioned the First Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. Funny though, two faiths at the same time? And this is also the same emperor that ordered churches sacked and manuscripts burned. To boot, he is named a Saint.

Then we have on hand the holidays and traditions of (to name a couple) Easter and Christmas. Both of these holidays land on Pagan dates as well, and yes, we celebrate both of them. Decorating a tree with Silver and Gold is warned to anger God. Funny, I heard an interview where the guy says he has a Jacob's Tree...guess that makes it alright. Then again, as I see it, it's whatever meaning one ascribes to the event. The year I had chemo was the only year we haven't had one... well, a fake one anyway. The three years we had real ones things always seemed to happen. One year I had my Gall Bladder go out, one year a rotatory cuff tore, one year an elbow torn. Each time we had a tree until I could heal, so I took the hint and we went back to a fake one. Thing is, should a man be told he can or can't have a tree?

What keeps going on in my mind is what happens when we have a person in office that tells you or me how to pray, what to celebrate, what to read, what to think. How to dress, what books should be in the Bible, who to like. I know people that believe showing faith is handling a poisonous snake. I personally ain't getting near a snake. I think that comes under the not tempting God rule. Oh yea, that would be the antichrist I would imagine. If the person or people that are in charge are good Christians, it would be great. But what if they are not? What happens if it is one of those you are going to Hell and I'm not ones, I'm sure you've encountered them at some point.

Who's Bible will we use? Have you ever looked to see just how many versions there are of the Christian Bible? Which books shall we use in the Bible once we decide. Even the name Jesus differs from translation to translation. Then again, so does God's. Shall we worship of Saturday or Sunday? There is a big debate on that too right now. Which 10 Commandments shall we use? There is a difference in Protestant and Catholic. Oh, I left out Mormons since I have little knowledge about that division.

Right now we seem to have Luciferians knocking at one door pushing their agenda. Christian Left knocking at the other door making God sound more like their servant. Christian Right at another door thinking Jesus needs their help to create a landing pad for His return. Muslims at another door catching all who get knocked down. Jews at yet the last door making money off all the commotion. Then setting somewhere in the middle are just plain Christians, Jews, and Muslims, watching all the insanity. Knowing they all differ yet getting along on the common ground they stand and respecting their differences. Each knowing that through their own actions, deeds, and words, people are converted by seeing true faith being lived rather than spoken. Most people have no clue that these three religions vary so much yet are the three that the UN has outlined in their Agenda 21 as being exterminated for their new world order. For those that want proof. LINK 1 LINK 2

It makes one wonder. Just how much of God is in our decisions and just how much we are being steered into thinking God is in the decision we just made.

1 Corinthians 15:33
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

2 Timothy 3:13
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Titus 3:3
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

Revelation 18:23
And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

Revelation 19:20
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
